英语中符号或单词如何变复数

对于某些符号或单词，如果在某些特殊语境需将其用作名词，且需要使用复数形式，此时可在词尾加-s或-’s。

如：

All the –’s should be changed to +’s. 所有的负号应改为正号。

His speech was punctuated by irritating ah’s and well’s. 他说话时常带烦人的ah和well。

His argument contains too many ifs and buts. 他的论证带有太多的“如果”和“但是”。
